We use the autoclave boxes at our lab as a container to hold lab lab waste or lab tools. We chose these because they are light weight, can contain liquids if anything spills, and can handle the heat of the autoclaves. After time, the boxes become a little brittle and sometimes split, so they are not as long lasting as we like. But they do a great job preventing spills that would otherwise dirty and corrode the inside of our autoclaves. Wish we could get a bigger version of these.
